Fernando SANTIAGO is a technology entrepreneur and lawyer specializing in new technologies. He works between Europe and Brazil advising companies of various nationalities on their internationalisation processes. He regularly acts as a negotiator and facilitator of joint operations between international companies in which the intercultural aspect is essential to the realisation of business.

Fernando SANTIAGO is a representative of the Chamber of Deputies on the Brazilian National Data Protection Council (CNPD), coordinator and professor of the Certificate in European Personal Data Law (GDPR) for Brazil at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and Visiting Professor at the Dom Cabral Foundation (Brazil). He frequently speaks at seminars and professional training on technology business in international environments.

Fernando SANTIAGO holds a PhD and a master’s degree in law from the Université de Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne, as well as diplomas such as Sorbonne IT: Digital and Data Law – Université de Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne; Data Protection Officer (DPO) – Université de Paris II Panthéon-Assas; International Law – Cornell Law School and Negotiation Techniques – Harvard Law School.
